Motivated Monday

We're half way through half term guys! And so I think the time is nigh to remind you all to check out what events are happening this term in the Spring Term Events 2014 option to see  if you can get involved in any of them. And now a quote:

We are so close to catching up with Alba and if we can achieve that, we are so much closer to winning the Championship. Make this year special, you'll always remember the year at school where you all got ice lollies for winning the most points! And for those who win the most points there's going to be a special prize!

its friday!

Friday is finally here! we have the weekend ahead of us now and i want you lot to know that Monday is another day, i know it means the start of another week but it can be the start of a new you! again, when we realize the possibility we have of winning this years championship, only then can we start to reform our behavior in classes, because isn't that what this is all about, these competitions and points were pretty much designed to motivate us into achieving the better future we have in our reach, just thought id leave that with you.

This being part of out motivational month here on the Driscoll house blog, we always like top leave something to inspire you everyday.

Just a little inspirational quote 

Hey guys, Dan here, your house captain. Just reminding you that with real work and dedication not only towards points on our reports and grades, but to the house championship can really make a difference, although it may seem bleak and pointless, if we can give at least a bit effort each, then we have a huge chance of winning this years championship. just imagine the pride that we can achieve by winning, especially with year 11's last year, i know it may be that the taking part is all that counts, but i'm pretty sure we can all take pride in knowing that we won the championship as a team under one roof!

Hey guys, remember to get involved in any of the House Championship Events that you can! You're all really good at taking part in events and we normally have a good number of people at them but there are still people that could do more. Try to see what house events you might be good at- it doesn't matter if you're not but you could just have fun :)

House Results

Hey guys! 

Your house captains here, we have seen that you have all been working really hard to get points for Driscoll and its been working as we are almost in 3rd place! We've got our results for the last events, we had our maths epic awards and house blog competitions, we placed quite well in these results, but more support and enthusiasm will always give us the opportunity to beat everyone else in the championship, come on Driscoll we can do it!

We apologise that we didn't come first in the house blog. To make up for this we are planning on having a Motivational Month starting next week! Each day we will be posting a quote, picture or video to get you in the mood to win points :)

House championship and results

Happy new year we hope you have a great year from the Vice captains and the Captains we are sitting in 4th place at the moment and we are around 300 points off 3rd so I think we can catch up and try and get out of the 4th place spot because we have been 4th the whole year and last year. Hopefully we can push for the the number 1 spot by the end of the year.
